Description

Hello i have a special case when i want to set a device status to On, Off, Dim XX but i don't want it to turn the relay on :-)

I have a "log event trigger" looking at a log file.
When a signal goes to 1 i send On to domotiga, but from domotiga a can control this signal as well
So when it sets to On, domotiga turn it on and the "log event trigger" catch it and i'm in a endless loop :-(

Is it possible to add en extra parameter in JSON set.device so i can set the status but not turn it on/off/dim ??

Thanks Andreas H

If you want to have a device which does nothing but only has a status which you can set from another program maybe create a virtual device?

Yes that true,
But the device i want to update is a shell device with "this device can be switched" in optins tab

Maybe you can use valueupdate instead of setdevice in action script/json?

Yes off couse that will work :-)
But this function is not implemented yet in json

May this can be included in the next version ??
