Tips & Tricks

Calibrating the device

To calibrate the device correctly, you need to put the roller down manually. Then you should configure the parameter 14 to 1 and this will initiate the automatic calibration (note there is a manual calibration method too explained in the manual). Once the roller has gone up, down and up again then the calibration is completed and you should set the parameter 14 back to 0.

This is required to make sure the device shows its status to Off otherwise the device will always be On meaning fully opened or dimmed.

If the device doesn't go up

If you have configure I1 instead of I2 and Q1 instead of Q2 then the device will work ok manually but will not be working normally from OpenZwave. To solve this, you just need to invert I1 with I2 and Q1 with Q2.
